Hubert Strecker was a German teacher who worked at the German Oberrealschule (a praxis-oriented high school) in Mexico City from 1925 to 1928. During this period, he also conducted research on archaeology in Mexico. From 1929 he trained teachers in Santiago de Chile. In 1934 he was appointed supervisor of the Catholic schools in Brazil (in the state of Rio Grande do Sul).
