Ahrens, Georg (1890-1962)
The German diplomat Georg Ahrens worked for the foreign office from 1914 in China, Japan, Mexico, Hungary and the US (1932-1938). From 1946 to 1949 he was personal advisor to Christian Stock, Minister-President of the Federal State of Hesse. He subsequently returned to the diplomatic service, where he stayed until retirement. Ahrens was also a writer.
