Holand, Hjalmar Rued (1872-1963)
Hjalmar Rued Holland was an amateur historian from the US of Norwegian descent. From 1907 he attempted to prove the authenticity of the Kensington Runestone: a stone tablet covered in runes which some claim was made by a Swedish-Norwegian expedition to the American coast in the 14th century.
