Pietschmann, Horst (1940)

Horst Pietschmann is a German historian. He lectured in Latin America history at the University of Hamburg from 1985 and became a professor emeritus in 2005. He specializes in legal, economic and social history, particularly of colonial Latin America. Geographically, his work focuses on Mexico and Central America.
