Three gables

Agorio, Adolfo (1888-1965)

Adolfo Agorio was a writer from Uruguay. His early works examined the events of the First World War, which he viewed as a battle between France’s democratic ideals and German imperialism. He later turned his back on liberal ideas and embraced authoritarianism. The French state awarded him the Médaille de la Reconnaissance française for his support of France during the First World War.
