Westenhöfer, Max (1871-1957)
Max Westenhöfer was a German doctor (pathologist). Westenhöfer lived in Chile from 1908 to 1911, where he had been contracted to set up an institute of pathology by the government. He held chairs in pathology at Friedrich Wilhelm University, Berlin (today’s Humboldt University of Berlin) and at the Universidad de Chile in Santiago de Chile.
