Whorf, Benjamin Lee (1897-1941)
Benjamin Lee Whorf was a cultural anthropologist and linguist from the US, who had originally studied chemistry. His research focused on ethnolinguistic studies of indigenous languages, in particular Hopi, Uto-Aztecan and Mayan languages.
